Audrey has several years of experience within county, city, and tribal governments within three states. She expertly navigates the intricate relationships between private parties and government agencies to assist clients with regulatory compliance, public policy, and advocacy before local, state, and federal authorities.

Audrey earned her law degree at the University of North Dakota School of Law. While in law school, she volunteered with the tribal prosecutor for the Swinomish tribe and attended summer school at Seattle University School of Law and University of Oslo.
She was licensed in Arizona in 2006, where she practiced privately before becoming an assistant city attorney in Bullhead City. She was licensed in Oregon in 2012, served as the environmental planner for the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians in Siletz, Oregon, and then practiced privately for several years in Portland, Oregon. In 2015 she was recognized as a Clackamas County Bar Association Pro Bono Volunteer of the Year, and in 2018 she was an Oregon State Bar Legal Topic Editor.
In early 2020, Audrey came to Yakima, Washington to work for the Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in the Corporate Counsel Division as a land use attorney. Since then, she has returned to private practice.
Audrey has also been known as Maria Kannianen and Maria Keddis. She loves travel, photography, and music.
